I was searching for a directory extension and found Jreviews and SobiPro. After going through their demo, I have decided to become a gold member of SobiPro. After 3 days, I regretted my decision as I am still struggling to get the extension installed properly let alone doing any meaningful testing. Perhaps, I just not technically sufficient. When there's a Commercial Joomla option out there, I am normally very picky about making sure there is nothing better that is free. Be assured, if you are debating buying JReviews, just do it! The functionality of JReviews is truly amazing. I looked far and wide for a way to build a directory where users can post reviews and JReviews was really the only one that met all of my requirements because of it's flexibility and because of the Paid Listing add on, allowing me the opportunity to monetize the site, and for users to submit their own listings and have them be featured for an additional fee. If you just want to make things simple, use standard template, be as quick as possible with your website deployment, then Jreviews will do an excellent job. However, if you're eager to make a step ahead and use Jreview's customization capabilities then you'll be surprised how many new ideas will arise. For me the best of all is that you don't have to be programmer to use it, actually you're going to need one to build a website features that Jreviews has already built in. The service I receive with JReviews is so incredible and reliable it is almost like having one of the developers sitting in your living room. Everytime I submit a ticket I receive lighting fast responses. I also appreciate the way their techs talk to you like a normal person, and don't treat you as if you are stupid. They show extreme amounts of patience and work with you until the problem is solved, even going as far as to logging into your site and fixing it personally if the problem still can't be fixed through their guidance. JReviews is a superb addon to Joomla and a product that really brings your site to life. The product and support are totally professional and it shows in the end products you can produce with it. As important as the prduct is the support you get once you have purchased and without doubt the support is superb. If you want a review site and are considering this against others then put your money here it will be money well spent. CSV import is another great product and addon to speed your way to the finished product this helps greatly.
