Hi, im considering this component, but before i purshase can you tell me if it can solve this issue:

Forgive me if some questions are stupid, im new to this component, and searching for the right coding stuff can be a time eater :-)

1 "product" that comes from some other table than the standard table in jreviews - since we have a working system allready, or would i have to syncronice my current table, with jreviews table?

2. Can i make it so, that only specific users can review/vote on specific items?

I need a solution, where 1 user can add 1 review (but not edit it after post), and only make one vote/review on that specific item.

Hope u get it :-)

No, the info comes from the com_content table and the jreviews custom fields tables.

Not on an individual user basis. But if you use JACLPlus, a free extension, you can create new access groups and provide access to only certain groups. Voting is not as fine grained yet.

This is a 3rd question. Yes, a user can add and not edit if you set the editing permissions correctly. You can also set the non-duplicate setting to allow only one review per user. The voting works differently. The votes are first stored for the amount of period you specify in the settings (summarize period) and during that period duplicate votes are not counted. After that the votes are summarized and the user info on the vote is lost so the person could submit a new vote again after say 48 hours or whatever period you choose.
