Hi,

I am looking at implementing JReviews for revewing and categorising surfboards.

I understand that the filter option doesn't work at the moment however are there plans to implement that down the track?
Will TAG plugins work instead with jReviews.

Also,

I wan't users to be able to upload images into their reviews.  Is this on the cards or at all possible?
I run Zoom gallery.  Perhaps this could be a good place to get user images from.

Finally,

You have a forum option in the demo configuration admin section.  How do you plan to integrate with forums?  Can you integrate with Joomlaboard at all?

Thanks,

Much appreciate it and am looking forward to getting this site online.

What does not work is using the built in joomla search to find words in user reviews or custom fields. Because jReviews uses joomla content, using joomla search will work as it works with content without jReviews.

The filter box you see on the listings works the same way, filtering on title and content, not user reviews. The sorting dropdown list DOES allow sorting on custom fields now.

No, this is not going to be added for now. Please don't buy expecting that it will be added.

With xtdratings there was a link on each review that led back to the joomlaboard forum to discuss the review. That is what I was planning, but it will take a while before I can get to that. It works like the content discuss bot, but for reviews.

Thanks for the reply.

The filter thing is something i am really keen to work on.
I will see if i can customise something for myself.

The image upload isn't a big deal.  Zoom gallery has a little function to put images into content items linked back to certain gallerys.

Link back to joomla board will be good down the track but not necessary.

I am purchasing the software.  Will let you know when it is all set up so you can check it out.

Cheers
