Hi!

I wrote a custom module in Joomla 1.5 to asist my clients to search a jReviews directory in my page.

The module works fine in all pages EXCEPT in the content details page of an article handled by jReviews pluggin.

What's wrong:
I use jQuery 1.2.6 and livequery and curvycorners (both plugins for jQuery) and when I call some functions of both pluggins it tries to find those in mootols.js instead of finding in the correspondent .js file.

Again, the module works fine on all other pages. Also, the module worked without problems using jreviews 1.2.xxx and Joomla 1.0.

I found this is a conflict with jreviews pluggin because if I disabled it, my module starts working with out problems.

What could be wrong?

Best regards.

jReviews also uses jQuery, so whatever conflict you are having with mootools doesn't come from jReviews which doesn't use it. You can edit the /jreviews/views/helpers/libraries.php file and comment out the line in the array that has jquery in it so jReviews doesn't load it and instead your module or your template does. Other than this I would need to see the page in question to learn more about the problem.

I see your point Alejandro.
As my understanding, the conflict is with jreviews plugin because if I disable jreviews plugin I won't get the problem. If I enable it I get the problem.
I'm working on a localhost. I will upload all the code to a public domain and create an admin user for you. I will pm you with the details when I get everything ready.
Cheers.

I made the changes you told me Alejandro and IT WORKED!!!

(edit the /jreviews/views/helpers/libraries.php and comment the line that calls  jquery library)

Many thanks.

Regards,
