I have disabled editor review but now when I enter an event I see this message:

You must fill in a title for the review.
You must fill in your comment.

But i can't insert this field because i haven't that.
Is this a bug?

Try going to the Forms tab and change the setting:

Enable REVIEW FORM for: don't show; or everyone except editors.

I actually have tested what you describe: editor reviews disabled and show form to editors and I am able to submit the form fine. Maybe I fixed this in the new version Huh

I was having this same problem.  After searching the forums and finding this thread, I disabled the editor and it worked.  BUT then my little stars rating feature completely disappeared.

HELP, please!

Thanks,
Shannon

If you disable the review form in when submitting a listing, then the stars will disappear. I am not sure what you are trying to achieve.

I have disabled editor review, enabled REVIEW FORM for everyone except editors but JReviews asks me:

You must fill in a title for the review.
You must fill in your comment.

Remember to fix it.
Thank you.

There is a setting in jreviews configuration to disable review titles and comments

I will look into this and if I am able to reproduce this issue I will fix it for the next version.

@akide,

I've looked into this and I honestly don't see an major issue. Just enable the form for everyone and clear the user ids from the editor user ids. That's the temporary solution. In the next version if you have the form set to show for everyone except editors and editor reviews disabled it will behave exactly like if you have the form set to show for everyone. The real bug now is not that the validation messages appear without the form. It is that the form doesn't appear at all because the editor reviews are disabled and the editor user ids must be ignored. That is what I have already fixed.

Thank you Alejandro.
I'm sure you'll find the solution in the future.  Wink
