sorry for this basic question, but I've recently installed jreviews 2.0 and can't find the "template manager"... is it the "theme manager"  in jreviews 2.0?

in documentation, this path is referenced under the section changing templates, but the path doesn't exist in my directory... "/components/com_jreviews/tmpl/default/ "

i am wondering if the installation didn't setup correctly now...

Hi jav100,

You have found one of the differences between jReviews 1.2 and 2.0.

In jReviews 2.0 the templates are located /components/com_jreviews/jreviews/views/themes/

You will see three folders: default, default_02, and default_dark

Check out this tutorial on modifying themes:
http://support.reviewsforjoomla.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=45

also checkout the jReviews 2.0 Themes Forum to learn more

Hope this helps!

thanks for the info... i think i need to start sharpening my php skills! - the templates look a tad complicated to modify... do you know of any tutorials on modifying templates in jreviews?

also, the "store" template i hear about in other threads, that isn't compatible with 2.0 i assume as i can not locate it?

is their anyone who could possibly create / modify templates for a fee?

Hi jav100

I have modified/created a store  type template for a new site I am still creating:
Here is the listing page:
http://www.lcdtvreviews.com/lcd-tv-reviews.html

Here is the detail page:
http://www.lcdtvreviews.com/hitachi/hitachi-37ld9000-37-inch-720p-lcd-hdtv-multi-system-tv.html

I still have a few more items I would like to accomplish.

When it is complete I may release it.  Since there is more custom coding it could have issues displaying with all the different template widths and sizes.

It may be a while till I have it all worked out.  Feel free to contact me and there might be something we can get worked out.

Thanks!

Steven
