Hello,

I installed a component JReviews. It changes categories and content ( add ratings in the content , list contents in the categories per ratings... ).
Anyway I created new friendly urls redirecting www.meetsingledating.com/adult-dating/ to www.meetsingledating.com/inde...iews&Itemid=76 and deleted www.meetsingledating.com/adult-dating/ redirecting to www.meetsingledating.com/inde...d=13&Itemid=87 . Eventually it reappears automatically, and www.meetsingledating.com/adult-dating/ keep redirecting to www.meetsingledating.com/inde...d=13&Itemid=87 instead of www.meetsingledating.com/inde...iews&Itemid=76 . I unchecked "Used" "Published" and "valid" but a new link reappears automatically.

Thanks for the help.

I am really not sure how I can help you here and why this is a bug. It's OpenSef you are having problems with if I am not mistaken. Correct me if I am wrong.

Hi,

I'm having a similar problem.  I'm not sure if I can explain it more clearly, but what happens is:

A user enters an item. This user has no troubles viewing the item they've entered and can modify it or whatever.  Someone who is not logged in, then clicks on the link on my frontpage in a module such as Latest News and gets the 'You are not authorized to view this resource. You must log in.'  All permissions are set to public, so he should be able to see it.

I have found the trouble is that there are two links made in OpenSEF to the item, each with a different Joomla itemid - one corresponding to the Add Item menu item, the other to the item when viewed by following the category and section links.  Unfortunately, when the item is clicked on, it takes the first friendly URL, which in this case is the one with the Add Item itemid - which requires the user to be logged in and in my case, also the owner of the item.  So, anyone other than an admin and the owner cannot view it.

So far, I've just been going in and deleting the faulty friendly URL.  It's not bad right now, I've only a few items, but I'll have to find a better solution in the near future.  I'm also not sure it the same thing will happen again when the owner goes back in and edits their item.  Let me know if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix it.

Go on your OpenSef configuration and set the "Append Itemid" on YES.
