Hard to see writing

Hello there

I am currently a trial customer and very happy with the program. However when I click on a category it brings up the items listed there. I have noticed that the background for each item alternates colour from light to dark. The light background makes it very hard to read...is there a way to rectify this???

The alternating row colors are classes in the listing css file. The answer is here.
