I am using the latest 2.0.2 JREVIEWS component.  I made the changes to the locales file for French, however, when I upload it, I get weird characters when I use accented french characters.
1.) My database is utf-8 unicode
2.) I saved my template file to utf-8
3.) I no longer have the axjax plugin
4.) When I change the ISO variable in the french language file to utf-8, part of my site works fine. However, submitting reviews after selecting a section and a category it stops working and won't open a window for writing the review.  In addition, the french characters on joomla modules that were displaying fine, don't anymore.

Thanks

What CMS version are you using? The only place where ajax is used for submission is the user reviews in listing detail. New listing submissions seems like ajax, but it's not.

If you can share this file I will  gladly test it on my end and with your permission include it in the next release.

Hi Alejandro,

I am using Joomla 1.0 and  just got it working using information obtained from your previous  suggestions that people should check their site encoding and if it is iso-8859-1, then they should
save the default.po file as iso-8859-1.

I will check my translation for accuracies and then send it to you.

Thank you very much for your excellent support
