Hello all,

I just got my site up and running with JReviews, http://www.marylandgolfreview.com.  I am still waiting for golf courses to submit pictures and other information but the functionality is there.  Let me know what you think!

When I click on a county nothing happens.  No reviews yet?  It looks nice though.  I'm going to check back when you have content. When your top 5 reviews are in I suggest you display the list as "Leaderboard."

Golf course participation is important. Are you giving them access to create/update their listings? Do you have a way for them to reply to reviews?  The topic has been brought up on this forum.  I hope you found a solution.

That is strange that nothing happens when you click on a county.  I have over 100 courses listed and over 50 reviews.  On the front page, there should be Top 10 reviews and 10 most recent reviews.  I will investigate.

I have a preliminary message out to all of the courses asking for pictures, etc.  Currently they do not have access to maintain their listing however, that is one of the things on my list for version 2.

Thanks for the feedback!

I'm using Firefox with Mac OSX.  Maybe that has something to do with it.

Nice site.  Fred Mertz.  Does Ralph Kramden do any reviews?  Your top-rated should be "leaders" like a tournament.  Is there something to click on to get a list of public courses? I'm not a golfer, but it seems like a typical user would be looking for public courses.

I like the site design... clean and clear. I have a question , how did you make it so that you could display the address, phone number, website, etc? Did you have to redesign the template yourself, or is there some easier way to do that. And are you p repopulating all that location info yourself then?

Also - I see that you ask golf clubs to call you if they do not see their image online. So does that mean you are only adding golf courses yourself (i.e. guests can not add a golf course?)?

I am setting up a site based on reviews (of an entirely different service / business) and am wondering what's the best way to go about it.

I appreciate any info / tips you can provide.
