I have Location Reviews and Equipment Reviews on my site.
I'm needing two Advanced search pages, each searching only particular mambo sections (or directories - whichever is easier).
How can I do this?  Currently searches will search both Location and Equipment reviews.

thanks,
Gav

Have you tried the advanced search module? You can also create different advanced search menus by specifying the criteria id which limits the results to the categories to which this criteria is assigned. If you have a different criteria for location and for reviews then that should work as well.

I'm using the advanced search component, and have specified the criteria ids I need in when I created the menu item.  This limits it fine for when using the advanced search dropdown box, but if I just search on a word in the item title or summary, then the criteria ids i specified don't seem to take effect.  I get results from both Location Reviews and Equipment Reviews.
Should I be doing it another way?

I'll have to check this as a potential bug, but I won't be fixing it before the release of jReviews 2.0.
