Hi,
I want to use Jratings to have my site's visitors (in CB) rate sporting events like running races. I have a list of these events in .xls format and want to upload it to Jratings to avoid retyping a over 100 race descriptions. Provided I create identical fileds in Jratings, is it possible to upload excell files?
Thank you.

Hi Alec:

You can't do it through jReviews, but phpmyadmin has import capabilities for csv files, so I don't see a problem. You can actually test it before you buy jReviews because jReviews uses the Joomla com_content table. If you want to use custom fields then you would have to import those separately to a jReviews table once you set everything up.

I hope that helps.

Thank you very much. Yes, I can work with MyAdmin.
A last question if you don't might.
I have no problem using your component on one site only (I appreciate your good work), however, I need to first install it and configure the component on my local server(JSAS) before uploading the whole site. As I am in Nairobi (Kenya) I have extremely slow and unreliable connection and do not work "live" on the server but do everything locally first.

Will I be able to do that?

Thank you, Smiley
