After upgrading to what i thought was 1.2.10 (jReviews Config shows 1.2.9?) the access settings were not the same as pre-upgrade 1.2.6

Easy to fix but not right ?

I am aware the version number shows up wrong in the gui, it's just not critical to fix right now. The access settings should not be overwritten though. You can always make a backup of jreviews.config.php and copy it back after an upgrade.

Alejandro,

I had the same issue.. I copied the access setting from my backup php file.
The version number is also 1.2.09 in the config file after upgrading to 1.2.10

Alejandro,

I had the same problem.  All of the sudden my original configuration settings and access settings were "reset to factory defaults."  I looked at an old backup of my site and it doesn't have the file jreviews.config.php under \components\com_jreviews as the newer versions of jReviews have.  Did you introduce jreviews.config.php in 1.2.09?

No, the files has been there for a while, but it only gets created when you save the settings in the configuration screen. The idea of the file is that it is used if found to avoid a database query. If it doesn't get created, try creating it yourself and leave it empty. Make sure it's writable.
