Hi I want to create records that can be reviewed by registered users but which contain certain fields of information that are only viewable/editable by a certain group of users, lets call them agents. Is this possible?

If not, then is it possible to have two instances of JReviews installed on the same site and then link the records? the general record will be visible to registered users but the agents will be able to get a link to a record containing further information.

Make sense?

Many thanks

OK have answered the first question - YES fileds can be hidden to specific groups. This is done in the 'Fields Manager'. When a new field is created there is a section called 'Field Access'. You can select which groups can access that particular field.

Amazing what playing with the demo version can do !

Cheers

Ok, glad you figured that one out. You can use something like JACLPlus to add more groups to Joomla.

It's not possible to install jReviews more than once in the same Joomla install, not because of license restrictions, but because this is just not possible with any Joomla component.
