Can a user submit a change/fix/update to an existing review?

It doesn't look like JReview is set up to do it, so I was wondering if it was in the cards?

Thanks.

Yes he can.

Go here: http://demo.reviewsforjoomla.com/

Login as demo/demo

Click on "My Reviews"

You will see the [EDIT] link for each review.

I can see that you can edit your own reviews, but what about someone else's? Like in your demo site. If the review is for "24 - Season Five" but it really is Season Four, can another user submit a change/notice/whatever that it is really Season Four?

Thanks,
Dave

Ah, I didn't understand that's what you were asking. No, there's nothing like that right now.

Is it something that may be on the project list? Even an option that gives a simple contact form that sends a PM with a link to the review.

Are you talking about the main content or the user reviews? The user reviews have the report form which could be use for that. For the main content you could try this:

I mean for main content. Since users may add new items, there is a good chance at some point there will be incorrect or incomplete information. Therefore, I'm interested in a simple solution that would allow users to let an admin know of a correction or mistake.

I haven't downloaded the demo and tried the code in the thread you suggested. It does sound like a solution to the problem, but I'll have to give it a run to be sure.

You will not be able to try this with the demo because the files are encoded. But there's another user who has implemented it on his site and it's working.
