I have working for a while on a new commercial addon for jReviews to be released at the same time as jReviews RC3. It's called jReviewsEverywhere and you can see it working with Community Builder in the attached picture. I am sure it will not meet everyone's expectations, but I am including several components on the new demo site so you can test it.

Great work and very cool!!!

A few (rather obvious) questions:

1. General idea for a release date?
2. Is there a list of compatible components? What sorts of components are better candidates than others for successfully integrating with jReviews Everywhere?
3. Cost for existing jReviews users?
4. Will Everywhere have it's own configuration (e.g. number of stars, etc.) or will it only be able to inherit the settings as defined for the jReviews component?

Together with RC3. Sometime next week!

It comes pre-configured, with plugins (for components that use them) and with a integration guide for: CB, Sobi2, Mosets Tree, Hot Property, Jomres, Zoom Gallery and Virtuemart.

Configuring a component requires entering some info on the Addon backend like table names, fields and a couple of queries. These components above have very different table configurations and it's working with all of them so I am confident it will work with many many more.

3. Cost for existing jReviews users?

Price will start at $25 and will be increased to $35 after the first x number of sales, to be announced at launch.

Unfortunately no. I have yet to do this for jReviews categories, like you asked a while back, and when I get to that it will probably be the best time to add it to jReviewsEverywhere as well. Right now the things that are configurable for each component are:

* Rating criteria
* Review fields
* Template/css suffix (on a component basis, not component category like with content)

The component categories are setup in the addon, and each component category can have a different criteria assigned to it (like with content). The component's reviews are moderated in the jReviews component together with the content reviews.

The new demo will have all the previous components available for testing, except the mosets ones.

And what version are you running? You should probably wait. I have found a potential problem with SEF Advance testing this week. I hope it can be solved on time for the release as promised.

I bought the Script last month and about to install the latest from my client area (jReviews 1.2RC2c Full Version )

I hope I am fine with it. My question was Should I install it or wait for the cool RC3?

Thanks

At this point you should wait. The new RC3 demo site is now online: demo.reviewsforjoomla.com, you can checkout new field features in the backend. The demo template will be included with the new distribution as well.

The demo site is also running jReviewsEverywhere Addon, jReviews+Joomlaboard Addon and SEF Advance.
