jReviews Support Forum

I was wondering if jReviews can be used for an e-commerce site. Here's what I need. The site will feature products from multiple vendors, for reviews, but also for purchases. Each vendor (with admin privileges) adds products to his shop: he basically has a store on my site (just like Amazon does with little shops). The only difference from Amazon is that next to each product there's a "Buy" button that point to vendor's own website or his checkout. So the transaction is done elsewhere. Can that be done with jReviews?

In jReviews you can decide which user groups are allowed to submit new products, so that part is doable. However, restricting submissions to specific categories (stores) by user is not a feature of jReviews. I am not planning on adding this functionality, but it could be developed by someone who knows what they are doing.
