We have created this site to allow people to access one location for all the latest Joomla Templates which have been released.
Each template can then be reviewed and rated using the JReviews 2.0 system.

We have arrangements with most of the main design companies, so we have fast access to the new releases, meaning we display them on our site as soon as they are released.

We hope it gives potential buyers into these template clubs the ability to not only see the new templates first and all in one place, but also to read up on the ratings for the templates, and more importantly you can read the reviews on the template design companies themselves!
Make sure their support and skills are up to scratch before you spend your hard earned cash.

In addition we have added a quick vote system based on an Ajax script for anyone wishing to drop in a quick vote, rather than a full review.

Oh my..this is an absolute awesome site!! Well done! Are you using Joomla 1.0x of 1.5? I'm starting to develop my car review site and i'm wondering which version to use. Please advice!

oh.. i hope you don't mind, if the tagging function you're using part of jreviews or are you using other components to achieve that?

Hi thanks for the great feedback.
We are currently using j 1.5.5 which is running very well for us with jreviews.

The tag system is the standard one from jreview.
We have tweaked the style a little but not much more than that.

This is sh404SEF, it took some work to get it to function correctly, but with some help from Alejandro we got there in the end.

I love the way you use Jreviews! Excellent integration. Content is easy to read and no abundant information seems to be added! The template looks slick (Yootheme, right?).

I particularly like one little bit of the site: under the text you have added email this, hits and bookmark. Which plugins did you use for this? I would love to integrate that into my site as well!

I'm starting to configure my site with jreviews and i'm a little overwhelmed! Is it possible to let me know how did you create the "tagging" function in your contents? for example, when i click on Business or Hosting, a it leads to the "listing" page if i'm not wrong.

The question is, how to i generate those links? Is it something default somewhere where i can configure?

i think i'm being confused by the "list" and "review" settings. You're using the "list" mode right? I think i've been in the "review" mode trying to achieve what you've created using "list".

Yes indeed, we are using the YOOtheme Evolution template for J2XS, it offers a nice simple style without looking behind the times I feel.
The part of our site that offers the email this, hits and bookmark links is actually JomComment component, which we actually use to invite users to comment through rather than the JReviews system. However we still use the review systems for the company themselves.

JomComment is excellent and well worth the money.

Yes we use the list section for the tags and create a list of tags the submitter can choose from.
You will most likely find as we did, you will need to tidy up the code to set columns for this many tags, which we made with radio buttons, or it looks very untidy in the form.

Just keep in mind when setting up that lists are for submission to the site, whereas the reviews are simply just for that, the review fields.
Our reviews section is virtually untouched, which we do intend on tweaking shortly.
Our main focus was to make the submission as detailed, focused and simple as we could.

The aim being, once your submitters are entering data, and the more the better, you can then use this later to put the right info in the right place.

I'm currently setting up a new car review site whereby users merely reviews so they basically do not submit any content.

I'm not sure if i'm going in the right direction but am i right to say that the "tagging" function doesn't exists in the "reviews" section and is only applicable to the "list" section?

If i want to achieve something like your layout; whereby user clicks on one of the tags - say "convertible", they will see a list of convertible cars, i should be using "list" instead of "reviews"?

Yes indeed, list is the way to set this up, then on submission by either you or visitors, then you select the tags that are applicable to that listing.

Then within that page, you will see each tag listed that was appropriately selected.

I cant say I know for aure about any other mods out there, we ended up creating this ourselves.
