jReviews Support Forum

In Step 2 of the CSV import, the fields listed under "Joomla/jReviews Field" pop-up only include 6 basic fields (I'm not using jReviews).  I'd like to be able to specify other fields, such as whether the article is Review/Published, the last modification date, and the author.  ( I can do the mapping to the correct Joomla values.)  Is this possible?  Or would I be better off just using a SQL utility to import to the jos_content table myself?

This isn't currently possible. When I have some time I'll try to add more standard fields, but it will be a while. For now you could easily do what you said and use a db tool.

I had the same question as the original poster.

If it's not currently possible with CSV Import, is there a relatively easy way to accomplish this by some other method or software? Or a guide somewhere that would lay out how to do it?

I've added some additional fields in a yet unreleased version available to licensed users on request via ticket. You can see these additional fields in the attached screenshot.

Some of those look like they would be very useful. Do you have a plan on when that next version will be released? Or, is it stable enough to use right now if I were to request it via ticket?

You can request via ticket now. I am not sure when I'll have time to upload it. It is already stable, but I've been told by another user today the images column import is not working, so I'll need to look into it.
