Title: London Pub Review SIte Post by: pepsy on October 02, 2007, 12:15:34 PM Hey there, I just thought I'd post a link to my site with Jreviews. It took ages to build.
I started to build the site before Jreview was around so the directory part of the site uses a different component than Jreviews. The site is here... http://www.lastrounds.co.uk (http://www.lastrounds.co.uk) The Jreview section is here... http://www.lastrounds.co.uk/official_reviews.html Thanks ;D Title: Re: London Pub Review SIte Post by: Alejandro on October 02, 2007, 02:56:37 PM You know it's possible to add reviews to bookmarks with the jReviewsEverywhere addon? I have done this for another user already, so I have the settings and file changes ready.

Title: Re: London Pub Review SIte Post by: crystalitc on December 07, 2007, 10:50:27 AM Well done.
Excellent work on the site- nice intergration of components. Well done.... Question: What component are you using to view related items? EG if you are looking at a pub in and area you have the ability to check out :, (find taxis servicing this borough) (find off-licences in this borough) (find public toilets in this borough) (find takeway/restaurants in this borough) Regards Glenn Title: Re: London Pub Review SIte Post by: aussiejay on January 12, 2008, 07:20:26 AM Well done mate, i found the wetherspoons i used to frequent for the 1 pound beers in southgate N14. I was wondering how you incorperated the google maps, is it based on the post code? I am thinking it would be easier in the UK because you postcodes are linked to your unique address, in Australia its far more difficult, it would need the entire address. How did you do it?
Nice component use as well. Jason Title: Re: London Pub Review SIte Post by: travisdh on January 19, 2008, 06:50:38 AM A very nice site, i love the use of images and the layout. It was a great idea to give users the ability to find nearby services, out of interest what is the use of these tools like, can you pick up how often people are using them through analytics either google or otherwise?
Well done and keep up the good work! Title: Re: London Pub Review SIte Post by: soderbez on June 22, 2008, 09:42:01 AM It's an impressive site. I'd be curious how you amassed all the data (bus schedules and so on). Who maintains it? I would appreciate a report on the components you used and some explanation of how you put it all together. It must be an administrative quagmire.

I've got it mapping Oz stuff, I just force the user to at least put in Country/State/Suburb, after that Google maps picks it up no problemo.
