Hi there,

Excellent script, I really like it!

I do however have a peculiar issue regarding the rating criteria.

I am setting up a review site that will combine reviews of a product from other web sites.

sample:

http://www.esmartviews.com/content/view/14/32/

I have 4 rating criterias (cnet/pc mag/pc world/hardware views) - however, in this particular test post, I only have reviews from the first 3 and hardware views should not be included in the calculation.

I don't think it is possible now but would you be willing to add the option to skip a criteria, basically if its a 0 or N/A, just skip that rating criteria all together and go with the others.

I don't think that the rating criterias should be mandatory but optional like the other options.

This is difficult to add based on the current design of jReviews. It's been requested a few times and I will definitely look into incorporating this in the next major version of jReviews, which will be totally redesigned for performance, features and extendability. But this is many many months in the future.

Thank you for the quick reply - this would be an excellent addition and I will look forward to seeing it even if it will be a few months (the sooner the better ofcourse).

Is there any workaround that could at least give default values to some of the criteria so that the user would not need to supply a value for each one?

No, nothing simple on my end. Implementing this requires too many changes.
