Title: Reviews -Reloaded
Post by: lkud on July 06, 2007, 01:39:17 AM
Here it is .... my baby  :D

It's basically a site concentrating on the indian subcontinent...
1>>>Still in BETA .....
2>>> Categories are not filled as yet....
3>>>Hell , its even got two Logos....(We still have to decide which one to keep)..You can view both the logos by switching from narrow width to wide width and vice versa by using the tools on the top right....

4>>>Tested it with Firefox, Opera(Best browser) and IE..... It dosent display the font correctly in Firefox.... So it will look good if you view it in Opera or IE(Even I hate IE  :P)
5>>> username :demo
           password:demo
willl be valid for 15 days...

I like the template and I prefer the wide version logo. I think it would be better to put the dashboard module at the top of the frontpage or as a right column maybe so users see at once that there is content on the site. You could put more entries to show at once.

Finally, you could use the total listings/reviews mode of the dashboard to show how many listings you actually have. I think what andrea has done on trovaidea.it is very good because when you open the site you see there's stuff happening at once.

I will implement it when all my categories are filled.... Right now only about 5% of the site is filled....and is growing...

I owe almost all my site to you , Alejandero , I will surely repay the debt I owe you , thanks a lot for helping me out....You simply are a great programmer and a person...

Hi,

Nice Site,

But on the Home page, if you view this in FF 2.0.0.6 (the latest version) at 1280 x 1024 res, the main text is pushed out to the right hand side (right of the Top Reloaders column).

Other than that good luck to you with your site.
