If we buy jReviews Component ($119,99):
1. Is it possible to write a piece of code enabling sorting objects by date within a period of time?
2. Is it possible to create an administration interface option of adding a caption to images by means of altering PHP-code.
Thank you!

Thank you for your interest in JReviews.

1. Is it possible to write a piece of code enabling sorting objects by date within a period of time?

You need to write this functionality yourself or hire someone to do it. I am not available for custom work. The front-ent code is all source readable so you can change it.

2. Is it possible to create an administration interface option of adding a caption to images by means of altering PHP-code.

Just like my answer above, as long as you can do it it's possible. Here you could simply use additional custom fields that are associated with the images and change the theme code to mix the image output with the captions. No complex coding is really necessary.

For both of the above you can test with the trial, there's no need to purchase it to make this changes/tests.

Sure, the code is open for you to customize it, but you need someone knowledgeable to do it.
