Hi there,

I'm still building my restaurant guide and it's going not so bad but I've got a request.
I'm starting from my homepage where I've placed a mod_jreview_field module on field jr_foodtype.
Let's say a user is clicking on one of the field options proposed there. A list of restaurants corresponding to the selected criteria is then appearing from all sections and categories (because no section or category has been chosen so far).
I would like to see a directory view that takes count of the selected option on that same page.
I'm trying to customize the directory.thtml but I don't know where to put my parameter.
I'm using the bullet type list as directory view.

A tip from somebody ?

The module has a category autodetect option that modifies the links to filter the results based on the page you are on. But it's not possible to filter the directory page based on a field selection and in fact, clicking on a field will never take you to a directory page.

I think I can develop something to solve my issue but could you give a example of url that takes count of a section, a category and a field option at the same time ?

Here's the url that takes count of my field option :
http://www.drumrockvideo.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_jreviews&Itemid=62&url=tag/newtypexx/5_m1/

but I don't know what additionnal parameter to put in order to select a particular section and category.

Sorry Alejandro, could you give me the same url but where the section is specified instead of the category.
Thanks again.

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to work. I've tried both solutions.
Other suggestion ?

I just tested the 2nd option I gave you and it works on my end: /cat:s15/

Please provide specific urls you are trying and also give the section ids on your site and show me what it's not working.

I'm really sorry, Alejandro, you are totally right !

I was using the ItemId instead of the section ID...

Thanks a lot for the trick !
