I am happy to announce that we have completed the first pass at refactoring both the front-end and admin sides of JReviews and will begin the 2nd pass next week. We did leave some work for later betas. Even though it still requires a lot of work, this next phase should move more quickly because the hardest part of the work has already been done. We need to check to see if we missed anything the first time, find areas where we can further optimize the code and theme files and fix all the bugs we can find ourselves.  Then, before the actual release we need to test upgrading existing installations, doing new installations and creating a simple version of a new site to make sure everything works as expected.
