This past week we continued making progress on the admin side and also started work on the GeoMaps admin. To complete the first pass on the admin side we have two tasks left: (1) remote installer/updater and (2) media related pages (moderation, media browse and submit). The GeoMaps add-on admin is already done.

Next week we'll try to finish the two tasks above and begin the 2nd pass at both the front and admin sides of JReviews. The goal with the 2nd pass is to remove any code and CSS classes that are not being used. Improve the markup in theme files and make sure it's consistent across themes and find areas of improvement for the javascript code we have re-written. We also want to find a way to centralize the location of language strings used for validation in javascript and server side so it's easier to maintain and modify.

After all of this is done we have to re-test everything to make sure the key features are working before releasing the beta. We'll try to leave some things to do for subsequent betas so you can get access to the new version earlier, but we need to make sure that whatever we release works well enough and is close to the final version.
