If I dont use Jomsocial / Community builder as an integration, how does the reviews look in the front end ?

I intend to use only Jreviews and Alpha user points. I will use facebook & twitter integrations.

The community is not needed. Moreover configuring that again and managing that is something I dont see necessary.

Without the community, user names will no longer be a link to the user profile, just regular text and avatars won't exist. That is basically it.

The problem is , there is facebook and twitter integrations in Jreviews as well as Jomsocial- which one do we hv to insert the API or is it both.

And If I  want to use just the basic Jomsocial only to link to the user profile , I dont need to upload any modules and extensions of Jomsocial apart from the everywhere plugin of Jreviews ?

PS: I want the focus to be on the Directory instead of the Community

As far as I know, Alpha User Points extension just provides points for whatever user system is used on the site, it doesn't bring its own profiles and avatars.

I understand what you want, but I'm not sure what to suggest. Joomla's default user system has a very limited support for user profiles, so some extension for user profiles is required if you want to have them. JomSocial is the most popular, but it brings a huge number of community features that most people don't need.
JReviews provides integration with Community Builder and Kunena as well, but they aren't much better.

I got in touch with the DEveloper of Alpha User Points and asked Bernard : I need an integration of AUP with Jreviews where it needs to carry its AUP profiles and avatars into reviews like Jomsocial/CB/kunena profile integration.  Can this be done?

And he said :  You must ask this question to the team deveolper of Jreview. My API provide all function to be integrated in other component.

So how do I get this done ?

Can Alpha User Points be integrated into the Jreviews- everywhere module ?

We don't have any plans to integrate JReviews with the AUP profile system for now. This isn't an integration with the Everywhere add-on unless you also want to add reviews to AUP profiles, it requires changes to the core as well. If you need this you'll need to hire a developer to write it for you.
