Check if user submited rating, if yes, block rating and let comment

There is some code that check if user submited rating with the review or just put comments with no rating?

If its possible to make this check, we could block the star for rating if the user already registered his rating for that listing, but let text area for users to register multiple comments.

This way we could keep the average rating correct.

There's a whole function that processes the saving of a review and you can making any changes you need there, but we are not able to help you with those changes. It's /jreviews/controllers/reviews_controller.php, function _save.

This could be a feature in new Jreviews?

People are trying to use another comment system + jreviews to keep the people interest in check the listing again.
Its confusing for visitors.

I dont see a point in use another comment system if jreviews already have it, just need this check for duplicate rating, and not duplicated comment.

We are just not able to implement everything people would like to see in JReviews when we have so many feature requests and so much work to do. It is a fact that some admins want people to be able to leave multiple reviews with ratings and that's how it's implemented now. So this is not going to happen for now because we just don't have the time.
