We are labeling this a SOFT release because it is initially available for remote upgrades only. This is the first version of JReviews that is compatible with Joomla 2.5 and we want to be able to catch any errors quickly and release updates with a quick turnaround until all the issues are solved. We will then make the OFFICIAL release and make this version available for download as well in the Client Area.
We have a lot of click-happy upgrade clients and as I write this, one minute after posting the update a few have already upgraded
This version is not the Media Feature version many have been waiting for. We are still working on that and don't have a release date. This is a maintenance release with lots of bug fixes and some minor improvements. It is of course J2.5 compatible which is one of the biggest highlights since you can now safely upgrade your site to the latest version of Joomla! For a complete list of changes read the

IMPORTANT. READ BEFORE YOU UPGRADE Module and plugin theme files have been modified and you must upgrade them on your installs even if you have them in overrides. We made some improvements for single page output of modules and plugins so it is not necessary to load as many javascript files and to solve rendering issues in some templates.
We've also released updates for GeoMaps and PaidListings. The GeoMaps update is pretty minor, but we fixed several bugs in PaidListings so it is recommended to upgrade. For the complete list of changes read the
