I am looking into building a bigger community element to our site to help stimulate user reviews - from what I see, this is one of the key elements to get people more involved.

What it would take is:
1. Forum
2. JomSocial or other - to provide profiles etc.

Then combined with user reviews rankings and some relevant forum content and initiatives to spur involvement I believe it is the way to go to build an ongoing flow of user reviews.

Has anyone implemented this? Seen the results? Share the results? - can show an example of how it is working for you?

Or does anyone have ideas on how best to implement this to integrate tightly with jreviews. Ideally I would make forum discussions on each product (from the listing page) threads in the forum for instance. So links to the threads would appear on listing pages to forum discussions - as with Amazon.
