The Nurse Oncology Education Program (NOEP)

NOEP is a nonprofit project of the Texas Nurses Association/Foundation. NOEP provides free, evidence-based continuing education to nurses on cancer prevention, detection, treatment, and survivorship. Our goal is to educate all nurses to create changes in nursing practice.

What were the site requirements?

Our web site is dedicated to providing free eLearning courses on cancer-related topics for nurses in all fields of practice. We needed to add reviews to the individual courses to better understand our users’ needs and experiences.

Why was JReviews chosen?

Our site was built around the JoomlaLMS Learning Management System for our online courses. JoomlaLMS had already created an easy plug-and-play integration with JReviews, so it was a no-brainer for us to incorporate JReviews into our current site setup. How is JReviews being used on the site?

JReviews allows our users to comment and rate each course they’ve taken. The reviews are publicly available for all current and potential users to read.

What are the key advantages of using JReviews for your website or business?

JReviews allows new users to view other user’s reviews attesting to their quality and value, and also to determine which courses are best suited for them. We use these reviews as valuable feedback: It allows us to better target our future offerings to what our users need, as well as identify problems users may be experiencing.
